In this history of this region, first time in private sector a fully equipped Emergency department has been introduced by Al-barkat Trust Hospital. The emergency department consists of five beds. Two beds have the patient cardiac monitoring facility by latest equipment. Emergency department also provide care to patient having cardiac problems regarding management of ACS, Arrythemios, cardiogenic shock etc and all patients are given basic treatment before referral to tertiary care hospital for SK. Three qualified doctors cover the emergency services in shifts and they are backed by all the consultant panel of the hospital, can be called at any time to provide specialist care. Emergency staff is fully trained in the management of resuscitation. All the diagnostic facilities such as X-rays, ultrasound and lab are at the disposal of emergency department. Relative of the patients have been provided a comfortable waiting hall to sit. Emergency department has the mini operation Theater at its disposal for wound care. It is the policy of AL-BARKAT WELFARE SOCIETY that the patients, when required, or cannot pay, are treated free of charge from Society charity fund and no burden is placed on the patient. DOT’S regimen in collaboration with WHO-Program, we are going to give services to T.B patients.
